3 Reasons to Join NMTCCCA

1. The History and Knowledge that you Receive in a Room Full of 100+ Coaches
.

Within the last decade or so, New Mexico has produced some incredibly noteworthy athletes and even the mention of their names brings a sparkle to many a coach's eye. Who could forget the dominance of multi event athlete Daniel Gooris vaulting 16-9, the meteoric rise of second generation superstar Kashon Harrison in 2017, or Albuquerque Academy and sub 5 minute 1600m runner and Stanford standout Julia Foster

Beyond the history of the athletes, you have the ability to talk and pick the brains of some of the most brilliant minds in the sport. Whether that's face time with coaching legends like newly minted hall of fame coach Anna Strauss, listening to a presentation from out of state legends like 15 time state champion Devlyn Lovell, or even just talking the state of running in New Mexico with coaches who are still competing like El Dorado's Chokri Dhaouadi (4th at USATF Masters XC Championships) it's impossible to walk out of NMTCCCA's Coaches Clinic without gaining of a smorgasbord of additional knowledge to implement into your upcoming season.

We are the NMTCCCA !!!

Begun in 1987 by a small group of visionaries with the goal of a NM Meet of Champions, as well as developing better communication and unification between all track and cross country coaches, the New Mexico Track and Cross Country Coaches Association was born and has grown to what you see today. Our association has and must continue to be the guiding force for positive change and the protection of all aspects of New Mexico Track and Cross Country that we believe important to our athletes and our coaches. Changes are a part of life. We are our best "Advocates" for helping to direct that change in a positive and constructive way. We must continue to "Educate" our membership and give them the best tools for success. And, as a professional organization, we must "Celebrate" those successes, those stories, those special moments and actions that make our sports such wonderful tools in helping to mold the youth of New Mexico. We ARE the NMTCCCA !!!
